Warranty and Repairs

You bought a Fifth Season product. It wasn’t cheap. You liked how it looked. You took it out into the world. You shared experiences together. Some you’ll treasure forever, a few you’d prefer to forget. Where’s this going? Our products are guaranteed against manufacturer’s defects for 90 days. That's a failed seam, usually, or a buckle with a bad spring.  It's not 'I was riding my bike and the bag fell out of the basket and then a semi ran it over followed by a herd of dairy cows.  Tears happen, things wear out.  After the 90 days if something happens to your item, you have a few options:

  • Fix it yourself (needles, thread, patching material available from us) and be self satisfied and secretly smug that you did.
  • Send it back to us for repairs (cost determined by severity of damage).  You pay the shipping here.  Email us for the best address to send the bag to.  
  • At the end of the item's serviceable life, toss it in the compost with a kiss, thanking it for its loyal service.  The squall sacks have an old zip tie in the top of the webbing, you should cut that out before composting, as well as the metal hardware, which can be recycled.
